The easiest and fastest way to get any kind of help is with AskMyGP. It saves us time too, so please help us to help you.
.....
AskMyGP is available to use Monday - Friday. The service is turned on at 7am and closes at 4pm.
(Please Note: At times demand can outweigh capacity. In such instances, the AskMyGP service will be closed to new requests).
.
To ensure patients are getting the safest level of care, some routine requests may be deferred to a different working day to ensure urgent cases can be managed on the same day.
......
Although you can name a GP that you wish to see, if that GP is particularly busy another GP may contact you instead. Additionally, AskMyGP gives you the option of how you wish to be contacted, (e.g. message, telephone or face to face appointment). However, the GP may decide it is necessary to contact you in a different way to what you have requested.
.......
Face-to-face appointments are available to all patients where there is a clinical need. You may be asked to first discuss your concerns over the telephone or online with a member of the clinical team to assess what would be most appropriate for you and which practice member would best provide it.

Appointments
The doctors may vary on their days of availability at each surgery. They work to a rota ensuring that they go to each surgery on a regular basis. All our clinics are appointments only. Please use AskMyGP to consult with a Doctor online or over the phone. If the Doctor then decides you need to come in and be seen they will arrange this with you. If you do not have access to the internet at home, just telephone the surgery or call in to arrange an appointment.
Consulting times at both of our locations are 09:00-11:00 and 15:30-18:00.
Please remember an appointment is for one person only; please do not ask for other members of the family to be seen at the same time.

It is your right to have a chaperone present during your consultation. Please inform the clinician prior to any consultation or examination

Practice Nurses
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.
Please note you are unable to book practice nurse appointments online. You will need to call the surgery to book.
