Weight loss injectables statement
Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) is a new NHS-approved treatment to support weight loss in adults living with obesity and related health conditions. The NHS is prioritising access for those at highest clinical risk due to limited resources.
Eligibility currently includes:
- A BMI of 40 or above (or 37.5+ for certain ethnic groups)
- Four or more weight-related comorbidities, such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), dyslipidaemia (High Cholesterol), obstructive sleep apnoea, or heart disease.
You do not need to contact the practice. If you are eligible, we will reach out to you directly to discuss your options.
In line with the ICB Prior Approval Policy for Lincolnshire, patients will be required to complete one of the FREE weight loss programmes (as well as meeting the eligibility criteria above) before being able to access weight loss injections.
The list of programmes available and answers to some of the frequently asked questions can be found at
Raising Awareness of Ovarian Cancer
The NHS Lincolnshire ICB is asking for your support in raising awareness of ovarian cancer — a condition that affects around 7,600 women in the UK each year, making it the sixth most common cancer in women.
We are developing a public awareness campaign to help more women recognise the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer earlier. To make this campaign as effective as possible, we need your help.
Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey and help us:
- Understand current awareness levels of ovarian cancer and its symptoms
- Identify knowledge gaps across our communities
- Shape clear, impactful messages that are meaningful
Complete the survey: https://lincolnshire.icb.nhs.uk/ovarian-cancer
Your feedback will directly influence how we communicate this vital information.
AskmyGP
We are aware that the AskmyGP system is currently down for patients as well as staff to access. This system is used for Non Urgent queries only. The provider is working to rectify the issue and we apologise for any inconvenience. Thank you
Refurbishment work
Both practices will be having refurbishment work in the coming months, to create extra clinical space, and we apologise in advance for any disruption this may cause. Where possible, we will undertake the work outside of our normal operational hours. The Corby Glen Branch Surgery will be the first to be completed and we anticipate having to transfer some clinics across to our main site. Again, we are sorry if this causes any convenience to you.

The practice complies with data protection laws, and we have strict policy governing patient information. We ask that you do not post individual personal queries/concerns on this platform. This information is viewed by the general public and in line with GDPR/Confidentiality, we will not be able to respond and answer your request. NHS App
We encourage patients to download the NHS App, so that you can manage your healthcare. The App will give you the ability to view results, letters, order medication etc without having to call the practice. Hospitals are now making their appointments visible on the App and our national screening programmes, such as cervical cytology, are sending normal results through to the patient via this route.
Please see the NHS App page.
